It s been 4 months since I travelled to the Netherlands for my Deep plane face and neck lift with endoscopic brow lift and fat transfer, still healing but happy with the natural results. I am so very grateful that I found Dr Faris. My story is a rather long one, which I have made as short as possible below, and sincerely hope it will help others when looki always disliked my nose as a teenager and knew I wanted surgery. I did my research diligently, and in 2014 finally underwent surgery. I had been nervous but excited for the outcome, which sadly turned out to be a disaster. Over the next 10 years I required a further 5 redo procedures, all privately funded, trying to fix the mistakes that had been made. These were either unsuccessful or traded one issue for another. My nose was so much worse than before surgery and I was told that the limit had been reached on surgical options and I would have to live with my situation. Long story short by late 2024 I was exhausted, devastated, disheartened and felt completely let down and had pretty much given up hope. My nose was recurrently deviating significantly to the left, my nostrils were two completely different shapes and sizes and the tip had been over-done and looked unnatural. I had no self-confidence, didn’t like going out or seeing people anymore, and hated looking at myself in the mirror or having my pictu taken. In November 2024 I found Dr Faris online. I reached out but wasn’t hopeful - many surgeons wouldn’t consider someone with 6 previous ops. But his admin reached out within an hour to confirm he would be happy to see me. The clinic is a beautiful building within a very nice village, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. Dr Faris was down to earth and such a nice normal person to speak with. He listened attentively to my history, asking questions here and there to help with his review. He examined my face and explained what he believed had not gone right in previous operations, how the recurrent scarring was pulling my nose in one direction and causing my nostrils to be different, and that it would need rib cartilage inserting which would be stronger than the scarring and stop it from pulling my nose to one side. He explained how he felt previous operations had also not taken my facial symmetry into account leading to an unnatural look, and that the tip could be built back up to counter this.talked about my skin integrity as the skin over my nose is very thin and has poor blood flow. He explained that he has access to a trauma centre at a hospital and bariatric oxygen would be available if my skin needed help. He was honest about setting realistic expectations and clear that whilst he couldn’t guarantee perfection, he was certain he could improve my nose. I felt he had really listened and was able to talk me through everything so clearly and give understandable explanations. I felt confident and scheduled surgery for April 2025. Prior to surgery I received clear pre and post op instructions to follow. When I had questions I received very fast responses, and I spoke to Dr Faris again a few days before surgery to go over the plan again. On the day of surgery I attended the surgical centre which was also a very nice, clean and quiet building. The team were kind and reassuring. After having many ops, it is still very nerve wracking and I was looked after very well and felt safe in their hands. Aer I woke up Dr Faris reassured me that everything had gone to plan, I was looked after very well by the nursing team and only required a few hours of recovery before being well enough to leave. Recovery was uneventful and even with a cast on I could see the obvious improvement in the nostril symmetry and nose tip already, and was thrilled to see the outcome when this was removed 10 days later. I am now around 6 months post-op and I am so happy with the result. I have my life back after so many years and I can't begin to say what this has meant to me. I am going out again, taking photos, and enjoying my life to the fullest - making up for all the lost time! Dr Faris didn't promise perfection but he near as damn it delivered it in my case, and I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you for everything!

I presented with a significantly short, upturned nose, uneven, exposed nostril's and severe breathing issues. I had two previous surgeries for my nasal septum perforation at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, but both experiences were very disappointing. Because of a bacterial infection (toxoplasmosis), I had to have the lymph nodes under my chin surgically removed when I was three years old. The result was a long (9.5 cm) and wide (0.5 cm) scar. From the age of 40, the scar began to wrinkle as the skin became loose; it hung down in a point, and I developed a double chin. This made me look old and tired. Seven years and four consultations with different plastic surgeons later, I found a glowing article about Dr Vuyk, “Plastic and Reconstructive Facial Surgery”, through Google.
